AXE THROWING 101
Similar to a game of darts, axe throwing is a sport where competitors throw an axe at a target, attempting to hit as close as possible to a bullseye for the highest amount of points. Hotshots Axe Throwing rules are governed by the World Axe Throwing League (WATL).
How Do I Throw An Axe and Stay Safe?
You will have a Hotshots Axe Coach walk you through our safety rules, the proper axe throwing form, and the best throwing motion.

Can I Bring My Own Alcoholic Beverage?
Yes! Hotshots is one of the few locations where you can bring your own alcohol! We also sell non-alcoholic refreshments.

Can I Bring My Own Food
Yes! We also sell snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.

Will we be taught how to throw an axe?
Yes! Your Hotshots coach will guide you how to safely throw and then stick that bulls-eye!

Can I Rent A Lane For A Group? Or Do I Have To Share?
Hotshots is accommodating to all group sizes! Check out the details below on how we handle lane distribution.
- Each lane has two targets that accommodate up to 12 guests
- All lanes booked will be a private event during COVID-19 recommendations. Minimum group sizes may apply.

What Happens If We Arrive Late?
Please arrive 15 min early for check in and instructions. We do not currently provide any price adjustments for arriving late.

Cancellation Policy
We can gladly reschedule you and your group any time with 24 hour notice. No refunds given however.

Is There Available Parking?
Hotshots Axe Throwing provides plenty of free parking outside our location.

Ok to tip your coach?
If your Axe coach does a great job for your group, yes, feel free leave them a tip of appreciation.

What is the Minimum Age For Axe Throwing?
The minimum age for Axe Throwing is 10 years old and up.
